From Voyager to Villager
We invite you to melt into the restorative tranquility and breathtaking beauty of Croatian nature; to feel and taste a pure experience of living in the Dalmatian countryside created and restored with the deepest respect and care for our ancestors’ traditions, skills, and crafts. Join us in the wise simplicity and inspiring richness of the village.
We build and maintain the houses, cultivate the land, and hope you will find your strength, peace, balance, joy, and everything you are looking for on your vacation during your stay in our houses.
We created Lavender Cottage and Sage Cottage as castaway cottages for your vacation. They carefully fit into nature, surrounded by wild forests, white rocky mountains, and ancient green Olive tree orchards, and are only 150 meters away from the turquoise waters of the Adriatic sea.
The cottages are isolated enough for you to enjoy your vacation in nature and to have your privacy and space. On the other hand, it is only 30 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by car from the center of the village Trpanj where you can find grocery shops, a bank, a post office, a tourist office, cafés, and restaurants.
The cottages offer a unique opportunity to spend your holiday embracing the ambiance of the peaceful traditional countryside while simultaneously enjoying the comfort of modern appliances. We also invite our guests to enjoy our garden where we grow herbs, fruits, and vegetables using only natural composting and principles of sustainable agriculture.
We are open all year round; the houses are heated in the colder months.
Come in March and observe nature awakening, dive your feet into the colorful carpets of wildflowers, admire the white lace of almond trees blooming, and listen to the spring birds singing to your morning coffee. Taste the first oysters, pick wild asparagus, hike in the mountains or visit historical sites.
April and May will welcome you with artichokes, an abundance of green, endless walks in the surrounding countryside, and relaxing evenings in front of the fire.
Summer vacations will be memorable with the warmth, the sun and the sea, and fresh vegetables from our garden or the local markets.
Join us for olive and grape picking in October and enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards turning yellow and red. Watch the burning sunsets on the terrace with freshly baked bread dipped into young olive oil that you could make yourself… The weather is astonishing in this period, the sea is still warm, and nature is generous both in colors and in fruits. Allow yourself a memorable experience of deep connection with the earth, and traditional village life.
Please contact us in September if you wish to come in October for olives picking to ensure that the year is fruitful and nature gave birth to the fruits to be picked. If you would like to join us for picking up grapes in September please contact us in July.
